Lesson 2

Cue Grip: A good cue grip is also very important in shooting pool. Your grip should be comfortable to you when you shoot a ball. Your grip should not be very tight or very loose. Most philipino pool players only use there thumb and the index finger to hold the cue. Most other players use full grip technique. In full grip, you use your thumb and all the fingers touching the cue. You should hold the cue about 3 to 6 inches away from the weigh center of the cue stick. Your grip should not be too firm or tight. When you move your arm back and forth, there should be no tension on your arm muscles. You should be able to move your arm freely.

Lets see what some other experts say about it.
